Špancirfest

Za Varaždin se može reći da tijekom svoga festivala pulsira kreativnim ritmom svijeta. Tijekom Špancirfesta grad postaje prijestolnica glazbe, kraljevina teatra i carstvo ljepote stvoreno čarobnim rukama umjetnika. Ulice i trgovi povijesne jezgre na kojima festival živi postaju pretijesni, a uz desetke tisuća posjetitelja njima vladaju ulični artisti i glazbenici. Uspješnost jednoga festivala mjeri se i po tome koliko je on srastao sa svojim okruženjem, a vjerujte, Varaždinci mjere vrijeme od festivala do festivala. Oni su naprosto dio njega, stoga je to uistinu festival dobrih emocija. Tijekom njegovih jedanaest godina na Špancirfestu je nastupilo više od 10.000 izvođača iz cijeloga svijeta, a posjetilo ga je više od 1,8 milijuna posjetitelja, što ipak najbolje govori o bogatstvu događanja i jedinstvenoj atmosferi varaždinskoga uličnog festivala. Svake godine festival dobiva nove, atraktivnije sadržaje uz intenciju da svaki posjetitelj postane aktivan sudionik i kreator festivalskih događanja. Jedini uvjet za to su osmjeh i dobre emocije.

Za Varaždin se lahko pove, da v času svojega festivala utripa s kreativnim ritmom sveta. Še več, v času Špancirfesta postaja glavno mesto glasbe, kraljestvo teatra in carstvo lepote, ki je ustvarjeno z magičnimi rokami umetnikov. Ulice in trgi zgodovinskega jedra, na katerih se živi Festival, postajajo pretesne. In med deset tisočimi obiskovalci na njih vladajo ulični umetniki in glasbeniki.
Uspešnost nekega festivala se meri tudi po tem, koliko se je zlil s svojim okoljem in verjemite, Varaždinci štejejo čas od festivala do festivala. So preprosto njegov sestavni del, tako da gre resnično za Festival dobrih občutkov.
Tekom enajst let je na Špancirfestu nastopilo več kot 10.000 izvajalcev iz vsega sveta, obiskalo ga je več kot 1,8 milijonov obiskovalcev, kar najbolje govori o bogastvu dogajanja in enkratnem vzdušju varaždinskega uličnega festivala.
Vsako leto dobiva Festival nove, še privlačnejše vsebine z namenom, da vsak obiskovalec postane aktivni udeleženec in soustvarjalec festivalskih dogajanj. Edini pogoj za to so nasmeh in dobri občutki.

ŠPANCIRFEST (OR THE FESTIVAL OF STREET STROLLERS)

It can safely be said that during this festival Varaždin pulsates with the creative rhythm of the world. Špacirfest turns this city into the Capital of Music, the Kingdom of Theatre and the Empire of Beauty created by the hand of the artist. Streets and squares of the historic nucleus in which the festival takes place become too small, for in addition to tens of thousands of visitors they are ruled by street artists and buskers.
The success of a festival is measured, among other things, against the degree to which it has become a part of its surroundings – and the folk of this city measure time by the period between two Špancirfests. They are simply a part of it, indeed they are the festival, and that is why this truly is the festival of good vibrations.
In the eleven years of its existence Špancirfest has welcomed over 10,000 performers from all over the world, and has attracted over 1,8 mil visitors – which is by far the best testimony to the wealth of happenings and the unique atmosphere of the Varaždin festival of street strollers.
And it is not basking in its old glory. Every year the festival introduces new attractions and programmes, the chief aim being that each visitor becomes its active participant and co-creator. And the only condition for that is a smile and good vibrations.
